Women's Study Groups

There are two women’s groups that meet on Wednesdays for fellowship and discussions about practices of faith.

  • One group meets at 11:30 am to share a bag lunch and conversation. From noon to 1:00 pm, they discuss the current topic. This noon group is mostly retired persons.
  • The other group are mostly women who work outside the home. Several of them have small or school age children. They met on the second and fourth Wednesdays last year. This new program year meeting day has not been decided (as of Oct 1).

Both of these groups are seeking a deeper encounter with God as they read and discuss selected books together. Books are chosen that may encourage the participants to think more deeply about their faith and beliefs, especially as faith relates to the world in which we live, and the everyday issues that we face.

Current topic:
The noon group is beginning a study of The Book of Acts, prepared by Toby Robinson.
