Women's Study Groups

There are two women’s groups that meet on Wednesdays for fellowship and discussions about practices of faith.

  • One group meets at 11:30 am to share a bag lunch and conversation. From noon to 1:00 pm, they discuss the current book selection. This noon group is mostly retired persons.
  • The other group meets from 6:00 - 7:30 pm. They are mostly women who work outside the home. Several of them have small or school age children.

Both of these groups are seeking a deeper encounter with God as they read and discuss selected books together. Books are chosen that may encourage the participants to think more deeply about their faith and beliefs, especially as faith relates to the world in which we live, and the everyday issues that we face.

Current book:
The noon group is reading through the Epistles.

The evening group has been reading
Barbara Brown Taylor’s An Altar in the World.
